Metrics + Analytics

More data does not mean better decisions.

Most dashboards show everything a platform can count. That is rarely what you need. A report full of numbers nobody acts on is just a longer way of not knowing what is working.

Useful measurement starts with a question. Is this channel bringing qualified leads? Is this page turning visitors into inquiries? Where do people drop off? Then you choose the few numbers that answer it.

These resources help you pick those numbers, track them correctly, and review them often enough to change what you do next.

Use this page when you need to:

  • Decide which metrics to track
  • Set up tracking you can trust
  • Connect marketing activity to revenue
  • Build a simple weekly review
  • Stop reporting numbers nobody acts on

Start Here

Build measurement in three steps.

Good reporting comes from setup decisions made before the first dashboard. Work through these in order.

01

Start with a question

Decide what you need to know before you decide what to track. Every metric should answer a question you will act on.

02

Install tracking correctly

Set up GA4, ad pixels, conversion events, and clean UTM links, so the numbers you review are numbers you can trust.

03

Review on a rhythm

Look at the same few numbers every week, and end each review with a decision: keep it, fix it, or stop it.

Metrics by Stage

Match each metric to the question it answers.

Different numbers tell you different things. Sort them by stage, so a strong number in one place does not hide a leak in another.

Visibility: are the right people seeing you?

Impressions, search position, and reach. Useful for spotting growth, but they say nothing about whether anyone acts.

Engagement: are they interested?

Clicks, time on page, saves, and replies. These show which messages and topics hold attention.

Conversion: are they taking the next step?

Form fills, opt-ins, bookings, and conversion rate by page. This is where most leaks show up.

Revenue: is it paying off?

Leads that become customers, cost per lead, and revenue by source. These decide where the next dollar and hour should go.

Measurement Check

If a number never changes a decision, stop reporting it.

A report should end with a decision: keep, fix, or stop. If a metric has shown up for months without changing anything you do, it is taking space from one that could.

A useful weekly review answers four questions.

  • What changed since last week?
  • Which channel or page caused the change?
  • Is the tracking still working?
  • What will we keep, fix, or stop?
